SYNDICATE

TheKnuxRemindMein3DaysSound: Retro-minded, fun-loving hip hop that’s occasionally driven by electro dance beats, but far more often chugging guitar riffs lead the way. The duo’s rapid fire and irregular rhymes are highly reminiscent of Outkast at times.
Heavy Rotation track: “Cappucino”
Medium Rotation tracks: “Bang! Bang!”; “F!RE (Put It In The Air)”; “The List”; “Life In A Cage (Electric)”
Recommeneded: The album starts off strong with four standout tracks. After that, the beats are still catchy and the lyrics are frequently entertaining, but they rarely recapture the same fire they demonstrate out of the gate. The Knux can get a little tiresome over the course of 17 tracks, but they do show a lot of promise as a forward-thinking, throwback group.
