Sound: Hedonistic punk that jumps from despondent to reckless to carefree. Southwestern-flavored horns and galloping rhythms are their most defining sound combo, but they also implement doses of squalling guitars, doomsday piano and bouncy organs.
Heavy Rotation tracks: “American Dream”; “Wet Diamonds”
Medium Rotation tracks: “Strange Fruit”; “Jealous Motherfucker”; “Elliptical Love”; “Black Pope”
Recommended: Flowers Forever’s genre-hopping makes them pretty hard to pin down. But if you can handle a mix of forlorn, aggressive and bouncy delivered with raw conviction, then Flowers Forever is definitely worth your while.
