Sound: Late 70s/early 80s-inspired Brit pop featuring scuzzy guitars, disco synths, danceable punk energy and dub rhythms. All of these elements combine to make infectious, arena-sized anthems.
Heavy Rotation tracks: “Cash Machine“; “Unnecessary Trouble
“; “Stars of CCTV
“; “Feltham Is Singing Out
“
Medium Rotation tracks: “Hard to Beat“; “Gotta Reason
“
Recommended: Hard-Fi may not be the newest sounding band, the choruses can occasionally get repetitive and the lyrics are sometimes lazy, but those issues are trumped by the fun, sing-and-dance-along songs. It’s hard to resist a good time.
