Sound: Fuzzy, scuzzy bass and grinding, psycho synths meet up with either frenetic and punky or pounding and dancefloor-friendly rhythms. The result, a bunch of fist-pumping, sing-along anthems, along with a couple noisy freakouts and instrumental jams.
Heavy Rotation tracks: “Fight & Kiss”
Medium Rotation tracks: “Magique”; “Some Words”; “Walk Away Walk”
Recommended: Total Magique storms out of the gate with three bona fide hits, but it never quite reaches that level the rest of the way. Still, fans of The Faint should find plenty to like on here.
