Hmm. I’m listening to the stream they have on their Web site (good page design, btw. the music embedd hits you right away). It’s okay, but a little too cheeseball for my tastes. And it’s not fey or unique enough to catchy my attention.
Aren’t we due for an Xmas single from Sarah, Bob, Pete and Saint Etienne? There’s a band who does this sort of thing well. Except I guess they aren’t a “rock band” so they don’t count. I just got the email for their Xmas party. I wished I lived in London.
Anyway, I just threw up some samples from my looting of Tower Records. Have a listen. You can get a good version of Crunk Muzik, a New Order rarity and some killer French steez.
