Recommended: In three albums, Brand New have evolved from disposable poppy punkers to intense, career artists. You have to have a high tolerance for pain-drenched, slow-burning epics to appreciate The Devil and God Are Raging Inside of Me, but if you stick with it, you’ll be rewarded with several beautiful sections and glorious climaxes. The second half is hookier and quicker hitting.

Wow! One of his best ever! Very nice.
It’s good to hear that the best Thug Chef in the Game (he was the star of MTV2’s Grubbin’ With a Thug) still has it on the mic.
Also, it’s the best track Chamillionaire’s been on. His flow is excellent…he needs to be on more hot beats.
It’s not as mindblowing as “Let’s Go” or “Sugar” but the world really needed a quality Trick single considering how dismal 2006 has been for hip-hop. This one should sound great coming out of some serious speakers and I love when Trick keeps it simple:
“All I wanna do iiis / Drive my Chevy through thiiis” … “I love agg-res-sive music. / I smoke. / I listen to it.”
How about that simple, telling detail. The man is a poet.
