SYNDICATE

Sound: Undeniably British punk with lots of jumpy energy, guitar riffs and troublemaking attitude. They’re out to party, piss off a few people and make you dance a little.
Heavy Rotation tracks:When the Sun Goes Downicon“; “Perhaps Vampires Is A Bit Strong But…icon“; “I Bet You Look Good On the Danceflooricon
Medium Rotation tracks:The View From the Afternoonicon“; “Fake Tales of San Franciscoicon“; “Red Light Indicates Doors Are Securedicon
Recommended: If you’re looking for fun and youthful recklessness in a modernized punk package that freely borrows from the last 30 years of rabblerousing rock. There are a couple memorable hits on here, but the overall vibe is what’s more likely to stick with you.
Grade: A- (Top 20 Albums of 2006 Candidate)
