Sound: The wussiest, whiniest and sappiest batch of dork rock songs that Weezer’s ever done. It’s likely to be off-putting at first, particularly the simplistic lyrics, but Rivers Cuomo’s tuneful vocals have a way of growing on you. Plus, they always hit you with a bunch of sweet-harmonied “oohs” “ahhs” and “whoas” to suck you in.
Heavy Rotation track: “This Is Such a Pity”
Medium Rotation tracks: “Freak Me Out“; “We Are All On Drugs
”
Recommended: To dedicated Weezer fans and anyone looking for a light, sensitive and confessional pop/rock album with the occasional riff-heavy sing-along and several hummable melodies.

Wusiest? Whiniest? Sappiest? Is that a compliment or an insult? Hmm.
