Calvin Harris concocted his debut album, I Created Disco, on an old Amiga computer in his bedroom. The Dumfries, Scotland native saw it released overseas last month. Now he’s touring with a full band to build up momentum for its September 4th release here in the U.S.

Fans of glammy/electro/disco/funky music with vocals should find plenty to like in Calvin Harris’ music. It bares some resemblance to LCD Soundsystem, but features shorter tracks with more of an ‘80s retro flavor.
