For my money, At the Drive-In’s Relationship of Command is still the #1 album of the decade. Though the seminal aggressive rockers imploded shortly after they exploded on the scene in 2000, they spawned countless similar-sounding bands. Denver’s biggest breakout band of 2006, The Photo Atlas, is certainly reminiscent of At the Drive-In (and one of their biggest influences, Fugazi), but they may have the chops to carve out their own path and make a significant impact.

The Photo Atlas unleash their debut album, No, Not Me, Never, on March 6, 2007. In the meantime, there are several ways to familiarize yourself with a band you’ll probably hear a lot more about in the coming months.
