SYNDICATE

NousNonPlusNew-York-based band Nous Non Plus have been censored on the Internet. Their video for “One Night In Paris” was flagged by members of the YouTube community, reviewed by the YouTube staff and removed from the site “due to its inappropriate nature.”

Looking through the YouTube community guidelines,
I’m guessing the video has been deemed sexually explicit. And yes, there are highly suggestive sexual and near pornographic scenes. However, it doesn’t ever actually cross the line into on-screen nudity. The song and video are also quite hilarious – the Franglish lyrics, air guitar solo and Paris Hilton double meaning. It seems to me there’s enough high-level artistry here and a lack of actual nudity that “One Night In Paris” could be considered not sexually explicit.

If you missed the video on YouTube, you can see it on Aeronaut Records website (Nous Non Plus’ label).
