Back in March, Ghostface Killah released his fifth album, Fishscale. It received rave reviews (I personally gave it an A-), and spawned one of the best songs of the year in my opinion, “Kilo.” Rather than basking in the success, though, Ghostface is ready with the follow-up.
On December 12th, he’ll release the sequel to Fishscale, titled More Fish. Though Ghost’s unmistakable flow will naturally be prominent on the album, the record will also showcase his longtime crew The Theodore Unit (Trife Da God, Cappadonna and Shawn Wiggs) and his 17-year-old son, Sun God. Plus, Fishscale producers MF Doom, Madlib, Pete Rock and Hi-Tek provided beats once again.
The first single is “Good,” some disco/hip hop that’s one of the more commercial and danceable tracks in the Ghostface catalogue. You can stream it here.
